I Mediterranei® di Larus – Cardio Pearls – are a new line of soft gel capsules containing extra-virgin olive oil, which thanks to its monounsaturated fatty acids (oleic) prevents the increase of LDL cholesterol levels.

Directions for use
The pearls of I Mediterranei® di Larus should be taken every day for three months, preferably in the morning (min. 2 max 4 pearls) with a glass of water or a cup of milk. Constant and regular intake of the soft gel capsules ensure that the properties of their constituent are performed to the greatest advantage.

Mechanism of action
Thanks to their special composition, CARDIO PEARLS reduce ingested cholesterol absorption due to the action performed by beta-sitosterol and by the triterpenic acids. Their action inhibits intestinal cholesterol-esterase, and helps plasmatic cholesterol elimination by bile. Its intake helps reducing plasma LDL levels without affecting the HDL (the so-called good cholesterol) levels. It is of significan importance, the reduction of oxidized LDL which as already clearly shown, plays a key role in the formation of the atheromatic plaque.
