The formulation is characterized by the presence of 2-Undecanone (extracted by wild tomato plants) along with Citronella and Eucalyptus Citriodora oils.
The compound, has an unexpected insect repellant activity.
In fact, when tested versus DEET, the formulation, notwithstanding its being completely natural, showed an higher and longer insect repellant action.

Direction for use
The formulation is available in the forms of spray and roll-on (but also the form in tube-gel is available soon) – Ecological and Natural.
It is sufficient to sray or to rub the compound on the skin to obtain a total protection from insects for about 6 hours.

Mechanism of action
The insect repellant activity of Citronella is known since the Middle Age. New studies shows that Eucalyptus is one of the natural essential oils more performant agains mosquitoes.
The insect repellant activity of the wild tomato extract has been discovered only recently in the U.S.A.
Among the various components of wild tomato extract there is also 2-undecanone, a harmless substance well known and used, since long, in the cosmetic and alimentary industry.
The scientific studies prove that the compound is very efficacy against mosquitoes and other biting insects.
